Nb. I like the music in this video, and thought it would be nice to share. There is partial nudity in it, although I hope that doesn’t worry anyone. Oh yes and an Australian model. The whole theme for music – fashion videos merging is not a bad idea, given that we live in a technological age, albeit one where ignorance is plainly still rife. (The question of whether technology = human advancement is a loaded one, but one which would be better saved for National Science Week, which too, is already upon us, so very timely).

I mostly like the remix music to this vid: being my main reason for posting it!

Personally, on a fashion note: so far I am loving the long maxi skirts and grunge look of the coming season. Nonchalence appears to me as a breath of fresh air – and gives us good reason to explore different silhouettes and moods, along with a more relaxed approach to attire and grooming.

Richard Niccoll’s monochrome knits and trouser/maxi skirt ensembles appeals, as does the red lip beauty trend paired with the long casual jumper and evening skirts of Richard Chai, and as states “you only need invest in the skirt – the jumper should be an old favourite”, I agree – this look wins on accounts of being kind, to both our bank balances, while restoring a welcome sense of value to our closets. See, at an eco-conscious level it also makes sense (maybe science and fashion needn’t consider themselves to be at polar ends apart!) 😉
