Palace Gardens, Alhambra

Originally uploaded by Birdoflight

This first photograph taken from the Bird of Light Photographic Journey Collection, is a view from the Alhambra Palace, of Granada, in Southern Spain.

These violet shades against the rich foliage of trees and gardens, was taken upon my (first) perusual of the Palace gardens of the Alhambra Palace, in Spain.

Granada holds a magical history, which is still picturesque today, and I have made the journey to Granada four or five times, now. I would return any day, given the opportunity. . As you will see from these photos and following, The Arabic-built fortress of Granada has an allure, which goes beyond time, and is awe-inspiring. This beautiful place of heritage was not too long ago named one of the new Seven Wonders of The World. It is situated in Andalucia, Spain’s southernmost region, the capital of which is Malaga.

Please enjoy diverse and wonderful points of my journey with me; I welcome you!
