I would like to add to this post, another quote, This one is from Taoist Philosophy, and it is one which has revealed to me many greater insights, over time.

“We shape clay into a pot, but it is the emptiness inside that holds whatever we want.” – Lao Tzu

As we find the economic recession digging deeper into our pockets, we can also find ourselves looking within more, and also just appreciating the value in the simplest things. It’s like when we clear out our closets, or give things away to someone in need. We free ourselves of the extraneous, and gain so much more, by letting go.

I have come back to this Taoist quote over and over again, as through reflection, insight is gained. And that insight is within.
