During my very first solo travels I discovered my love of photography. It was during a holiday in New Zealand, and I was about twenty. Of course, I’d taken photographs before, but believe it or not, then I was actually mostly too shy to have my photo taken, I spent more time running away from cameras.. It’s actually true. It’s another story how I came to start modelling a couple of years later.

There is a certain peace at being behind the camera, I guess different people look at it from different perspectives, but certainly it was challenging to hope for a good shot, especially before the digital cameras became commonplace and we still had film. That first trip involved a Minolta and a fascination for macro.. But back to the Malaga journey..
