Poem: To a creature in the Waters (and the tears which flowed beside him).

It’s that time of the day
For standing on your
Head,
And for putting
To test,
All that you
learned,
And letting
Peace flow
Under the bridge, now.

It’s that Time
Of the day,
For starting
Something new,

To estrange with
The old,
to untype
the burnt-out sadness,
Weeping,
Look Past
The holes.

Not biting the lip,
Clenching fists
To stop being
Cruel –
To part with
Dreams lost.

To know The time
To love yourself
More than you did
Before, but not in an
egocentric way,
As the mechanism changes.

To uncloth the wound
And to breathe again –

To forgive oneself;
To be kind,
Lose the strategy; –
And to move on
And up –
Embracing
What is here to stay,
Forgetting,
The little hurts,
Breathing in,
The fresh air,
Of today.
